and cleanliness. This includes inspection and monitoring of facilities as well as enforcing all established policies

AVP is an a cappella ensemble that performs frequently around the UVa campus, in the Charlottesville community, and at other
colleges around the nation. In addition to going on tour, AVP has released eight albums, is featured on several BOCA
(Best of College A Cappella) compilations, and frequently participates in many non-profit fundraisers and benefit concerts.

• Tutoring services through Madison House and A Day
in the Life Student Volunteer Services. Fall ’05/ Fall ‘06. Tutelage of a third grade student in language
arts at Greer Elementary school and an eighth grade student at Zion Union Baptist Church.
• United
Way – Richmond, VA. 150 hours total devoted to working to increase public awareness of homelessness in the Greater
Richmond area.

• Jefferson Scholar
class 2007. Full academic scholarship awarded for leadership, merit, academics, and citizenship.

Raven Award Spring 2006. $2,500 stipend to research, through painting, the riots that took place in French suburbs in
October and November of 2005.

Distinguished Major Candidacy. Requires a thesis an end of the year show at the University Off Grounds gallery.

Aunspaugh Fifth Year Fellowship 2007-2008. Two semester, $4,800 living expenses and materials stipend and studio provided
for advancement of portfolio and preparation for graduate school.
